Important to not that - just this year, - at least three separate reports have indicated that the stunning economic revolution for which #GenAI should supposedly be responsible has Nuer to be unleashed. See my earlier post on dirigibles piloting steampunk cars. What has been unleashed is a power generation demand unlike anything in history. And because the #renewables pipeline has been stymied over the past five years by both political factors/NIMBYism, disinformation about wind installations and transmission backlogs, the full extent of the required #greene edgy generation has not kept up with this demand. The combination has accelerated dirty fuel energy production, making climate targets more difficult to achieve. If there was anywhere to apply a process efficiency model like OPM3, this is it. Transmission project backlogs are one of the largest impediments to the #greenenergy transition. All that new generation just doesn’t have anywhere to go and that leads to curtailment which diminishes sales or quantities, and a domino effect of undesirable results. #NYC’s water supply is one of the largest, most complex water #infrastructure systems in the planet. It is possible to end the reliance on dirty fuels. Does the #UK have the same population as the US, or China? Or India? Decidedly not. Are their politics then same? That would also be a hard no. Do they live within the same environmental constraints - with an impending #climateemergency - emphatically yes. Will countries with larger populations take lessons and adapt them for their own benefit? Nobody knows, but we can push for that eventuality. The last acceptable bias - #ageism - is not just ardently rampant throughout the #bigtech industry at organizations such as X it pervades all sectors in the work experience. This lawsuit, and hopefully the resulting after effects, will ripple throughout society as #GenX, similar to Jamapn’s “lost generation” begins arriving at retirement age without sufficient savings to survive that phase of their lives- not because of a lack of available retirement products, but because GenX-era have been underutilized, underpaid, under-recognized, and undervalued throughout their careers.
