Congratulations to Royce Cross, Chairman of Cross Insurance, on being honored by the Insurance Library in Boston as the Insurance Professional of the Year. Cross Insurance is my prior employer, and they took a chance on me when I was new to the industry with no prior experience and no one else wanted to hire me. I’ll always be grateful for that opportunity. 7.5 years later, and in a management role with Cross at the time running one of their offices, I shared with Royce that I was leaving to pursue my dream of building a family insurance business, and his response was nothing but support and encouragement. He’s been an incredible mentor to me, and I continue to look up to him as a role model and someone I aspire to be when I grow up someday! Congratulations, Royce, on this well-deserved recognition!
