According to the American Cancer Society, the estimated number of deaths in the US from ovarian cancer in 2023 alone will be over 13,000, 2.2% of all cancer deaths this year. Nearly 20,000 new cases of ovarian cancer will be detected. When ovarian cancer is found early, about 94% of patients live longer than 5 years after diagnosis.
