Ever told someone how much they mean to you when they didn’t expect it? Those moments are priceless, for the person receiving the gratitude and you. So why do we so often wait until birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or Employee Appreciation Week to express how much we care? Needing calendar reminders to convey our appreciation signals that we’re… ➡ Falling short of our emotional capabilities ➡ Thinking too often of ourselves first ➡ Taking too much credit for our own success ➡ Inviting others to define for themselves who they think we are Next time you think about how grateful you are for your partner, child, father, friend, employee, teammate or manager, STOP AT THAT MOMENT AND TELL THEM! ✔ Send a text ✔ Better yet, call them ✔ Even better, tell them in person You don’t need the perfect script, only a willingness to be vulnerable and genuine. When this is your regular practice, the people in your life… 👍 Stick with you 👍 Stand by you 👍 Fight for you 👍 Believe in you Today’s the perfect day to start making the gift of gratitude a hallmark of who you are. I’m a coach and I’m invested in helping people flex and grow in the areas they self-identify as needing help most. Follow me for more and repost if you like my takes.

Absolutely agree! Expressing gratitude should be a daily habit, not just reserved for special occasions. 🌟
