My new article to support Menopause Day (18th October) - let's put it in the focus, take care of our people and save/make money in the process. If you employ 40-65 year olds, have more than 20 employees or support employees who menstruate this is a must-read. It's a window for a win, win, win! Don't let it pass you by!

It is about time that we talk about Menopause. In a world that relies heavily on the nurturing, care and love of feminine energy we sure do turn away from the symptoms and suffering our colleagues, teams and friends go through whilst transitioning into a life without reproductive qualities. It is becoming more normal to talk about it openly and honestly considering that there is not one person who won't suffer the direct consequences or love someone who does, it is a bit strange that it's still a little taboo in 2024. This past year I have had the absolute honour of supporting Human resource teams across the UK by offering team members who are perimenopausal or menopausal opportunities to protect something incredibly important during this transition : Mental Health. I have been working directly with women/ menstruating team members in the workplace offering Positive Psychology sessions via a private counselling and coaching environment and it has been astounding to see the positive changes to the people I have worked with. From a Human resources perspective, allowing your team members 1 hour per month for 12 months with me to support them in this way not only costs less than the churn of lost employees, conflict resolution in the environment of interacting teams, it also increases employee satisfaction. We saved one of our clients £125,000 on just 20 employees alone. Let that sink in. Yes we all know the hot sweats, the massive cocktail of rollercoaster hormones, the lack of sleep and the brain fog - these are easily noted. What about a woman who was sharp as a tack and respected over the last 20 years of her career suddenly being disregarded in meetings when she speaks up. What about when that woman who has been tactful and patient her whole career has a day where the stress of the environment causes her to be the worst possible thing a woman can be at work :/ : EMOTIONAL. What about that employee who has managed tens of other employees, advanced, encouraged and supported them over decades only now to be looked upon as the office fool? Brutal. You might not think it is happening in your company either, but statistically it likely is. You may not realise the difficulties that arise mentally and emotionally for these valued employees or how much of the stress is taken home, unmanaged and wholly unsupported. Suicide rates increase among women in midlife, with those aged 45-54—often during menopause—experiencing one of the highest female suicide rates globally. I am so pleased we have been able to offer a way for HR teams to support their company's brightest employees during this time, in a way that allows for life to be enjoyed and not just survived. There are very many tools we can do to support Menopause in the workplace. Let's start by recognising it as a priority. Look out for the companies that have a policy on menopause or who are proudly displaying their commitment to their employees in this way. Let's do better x

Another day, another amazing woman recording her podcast with us 💕 in 2024 podcasting has become such an amazing way for us to be able to provide free resources, value and insight, showing the vulnerability and honesty of ourselves, thoughts , ideas and personalities too. Being able to share in this way is such a wonderful experience both for your listeners and for us as entrepreneurs. It's so easy to show up only occasionally neglecting the needs of your audience and finding ourselves chasing our tails when there are easy ways, like this where you can literally be there for people without being "live". What are your favourite podcasts?

This might be the cheesiest testimonial video ever but what I will say is that we have so much gratitude for Jen and her amazing words and we love to have an entertaining angle when we are sharing!

I have built three brands for myself and over 300 for others with the help of my team, from scratch.  Startups are proven to be the hardest, so if we have that much expertise, imagine what we do with brands that are semi-established, fully established or understand themselves to begin with!! The view is different when you are building from the dirt up - me and my girls aren't afraid to get our hands dirty roll up our sleeves and put in the the hours. If you already have a vision, identity and goals then we have an exceptional starting point to accelerate growth. Unlike other firms we don't just look at the business head count or profit growth either, we are person-focused and support you in being able to grow with confidence long after our time together has ended.  I blame my sister Su for this, she had a poster on her wall when I was a teenager and it obviously had a massive effect on my mentality.  Our tagline could be "the last outsource team you ever need to work with" because so often after us, the next team you have are solely yours, trained with our support and ready to take you way beyond freelancers, VAs and outsourced support.  Just a thought 😉
