Project Diary: SW19 & 202 One of our current projects is this exclusive estate, that has been meticulously designed to maximise outdoor living, entertainment, and the surrounding sea views. Set on a gently sloping 2-acre site in Jamaica, the property features two villas. The main house includes an infinity pool, outdoor theatre, and a conversation pit, while the guest villa features a striking rectangular pool with a pool window. A gym and Pilates studio, complete with steam and sauna facilities, overlook the tennis court, which has been strategically positioned north to south to minimise glare from the sun. A running track circles the perimeter of the estate, and staff quarters have been seamlessly integrated to ensure functionality. Every element has been carefully considered to deliver a sophisticated and seamless living experience. Completion is scheduled for early 2025. The materials chosen for the building’s façade and structure harmonize with the surrounding architecture and the landscape of Wadi Hanifa. This approach ensures that the building integrates seamlessly into the existing urban fabric. The primary focus of the design was to orient the building’s mass towards the valley, using it to block unwanted sunlight from reaching the inner courtyard, as well as shading the swimming pool to prevent the water from overheating during the summer months.

A Swimming pool club designed in the shape of the letter "B" inspired by royal baths + A B-shaped plan, inspired by the grandeur of Indian architecture, is designed as a swimming pool club, evoking the opulence of royal baths once enjoyed by kings and nobles. The design features two arc-shaped pools-one for adults and another for children-reminiscent of the elaborate water features in ancient Indian palaces. + The central courtyards, a hallmark of Indian palace architecture, are utilized as functional spaces: one serves as a dining area for visitors, and the other as a serene sitting courtyard, fostering a sense of community and relaxation. + The design also incorporates modern amenities, including car parking, common toilets, a restaurant, locker rooms, a reception area, and a kitchen, blending the timeless elegance of Indian heritage with contemporary functionality.
