All tires have an expiration date. Most manufacturers warn drivers to replace vehicle tires after 6 years. If drivers are to wait longer than the suggested 6 years replacement it imposes a huge risk to the driver and other drivers. Replacing tires before the 6 years suggested diffuses a potentially dangerous situation. Do your part and know your vehicle and tires. #TireSafety #RoadSafety #DestinationZeroDeaths #TireSafety #CRPC #CRTSC #TireSafetyTips

Small vehicle expedite shipping is more fuel efficient, and also more cost-effective than shipping partial loads on a standard 53-foot semi trailer. Shippers will not be paying full cost for empty space or extra mileage on a large truck and smaller vehicles allow shippers to be more efficient with shipments up to 14 pallets. Small vehicles deliver more quickly than traditional Truckload or LTL. These vehicles travel more quickly, make fewer stops and allow shippers to avoid the time-consuming “hub and spoke” LTL networks. Since each load is handled by a dedicated vehicle, small vehicle expedite shipping minimizes the risk of theft, damage and mishandling that can happen when using other modes of transportation. Using your turn signals on the road is crucial for maintaining safety and communication with other drivers. Signaling your intention to change lanes or make a turn allows other drivers to anticipate your actions and adjust their driving accordingly. This small but essential action promotes a smoother flow of traffic and reduces the risk of accidents. #BWMitchum #Trucking #CharlestonTruckers #Transportation

Large commercial trucks are capable of doing serious damage to anything the come into contact with. No private vehicle can come close to the destruction wrought by a semi truck or other large work vehicle. This is why there are so many regulations in place concerning the operation of such vehicles, and why it is so unsettling when those rules are broken. #TruckAccident #InjuryLawyers https://buff.ly/3WrQ0Dr

Counterfeit air bags are entering the U.S. illegally and making their way into vehicles, often as replacement parts installed during postcrash repairs. Carmakers warn dealers to watch out for counterfeits when satisfying recall campaigns—such recall fixes are usually performed by manufacturers’ franchised dealerships. Tens of thousands of counterfeit air bags have been seized by law-enforcement authorities in recent years. It also comes as federal regulators are weighing whether to order the recall of an estimated 45 million vehicles for potentially dangerous air-bag inflators made by Tennessee-based parts supplier ARC Automotive. #insurance #underwriting #insuranceindustry #reinsurance https://lnkd.in/d5NrmeS2
