⁉ Do you know exactly what makes your product valuable? "When we add features to a product, we add value to it." ❌ Not necessarily. Think about the technological evolution of TV screens 🌄 . What does the transition from a 4K TV to an 8K TV bring you? The human eye can't tell the difference between the two. LED, OLED, QLED. What's the difference? What does it bring to the customer? Nothing. THE "MORE IS LESS" APPROACH DOESN'T WORK 😳 Adding a feature must be carefully considered. In the era of CD players 💿 , storing 1000 songs on a pocket-sized product was a real breakthrough. Once this breakthrough was achieved (having your entire music library in your pocket), offering 2 GB, 5 GB, or even 10 GB fundamentally changes nothing for this use case. Technological development progresses faster than the market's ability to absorb it. ↪ UNDERLYING MARKET FACTORS THAT ARE CHANGING ♻ Beyond a certain point, increased technological performance no longer has value in the eyes of the market and is an opportunity cost for you. The customer is no longer willing to pay for access to your performance improvement. Their attention shifts to other performance criteria deemed insufficient, as documented by #ClaytonChristensen, and in this order 👉 Reliability 👉 Ease of use 👉 Responsiveness 👉 Customization ⭐ WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU Technological advancement is valued through extended usage that the customer is willing to pay for. It only has value if it brings something for the user of your product.
