Join the conversation! On April 3 at 10 a.m. PDT, the Flight Opportunities team will facilitate a discussion for researchers to engage with each other and share their experiences using cameras to gather data on a variety of flight test platforms. The discussion will encompass an overview of cameras used, environmental issues to consider in camera selection, and common pitfalls and lessons learned (e.g., securing memory cards, recording tips, best practices for lenses). What sorts of camera topics would you like to see covered during this session? Email us at NASA-FlightOpportunities@mail.nasa.gov. Bravo, NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration. #DesignForAll #Accessibility #Inclusion #Progress "NASA’s many successful space missions and discoveries have resulted in the acquisition of thousands of images, movie clips and a variety of data in a range of scales. These resources have helped most of us to visualize, interpret and map distant planetary surfaces, leading to extraordinary discoveries. But, what about your colleague, friend or family member who is visually impaired or blind? How might these discoveries and observations be as powerful for them as it is for you? We ask questions like this all of the time so that people with disabilities can have the same experiences as people without, whether it is understanding what an asteroid or small body is, experiencing a lunar or solar eclipse, or using spectroscopy to determine the composition of a planet’s surface. For the last two decades we have been working with students, colleagues, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the National Federation of the Blind (NFB), teachers and parents to make earth and space science accessible for all." https://lnkd.in/gvdRqxeE

When it comes to brand strategy, we often start with "Why..." ...today is starts with WOW!!! 🙌 𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄 🫨 Hytro, is a human performance brand that is redefining what's possible in athletic training & recovery through pioneering research and innovation in blood flow restriction (BFR). We're proud to say we are the #1 BFR choice of your favourite athletes, teams, clubs and now....space institutions & astronauts?!!? 👨🚀 🚀 Warren Bradley Ph.D & Raj Thiruchelvarajah, Hytro's founders believed enough in the transformative power of BFR to improve health & performance, that they ignited a movement to bring it out of the dusty realms of clinical rehab, and into the exciting world of human potential. I'm sure we never thought it would also go to space (so soon). What an amazing achievement for the team, and an incredible advancement for the entire human health & performance industry. 👏 https://lnkd.in/ewgtwJMi Read more about exactly what's going on here, and make sure you follow to keep up to date with where we're going next! #bfr #bfrtraining #bfrrecovery #nasa #space #spacetravel #spacex #polarisdawn #science #sport #sportsscience #bloodflow #bloodflowrestriction #occlusion #occlusiontraining #news
Hytro is in space 🚀 We have collaborated with scientists from SpaceX, NASA, Sheffield Hallam University, and Labfront, to conduct research on the recently launched Polaris Dawn Space Mission 🧑🚀 The aim of the research is to examine how BFR affects blood flow in zero gravity to help maintain astronauts' bone and muscle health. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration launched it's latest space probe to visit Jupiter's icy moon Europa in 2030. The probe will make 44 close flybys and provide into what are the three requirements for life as we know it: liquid water, chemistry, and energy. Europa is one of the locations in the Solar System besides Earth where life might exist, possibly in the subsurface oceans suspected under the moon's ice crust. Forbes 09 https://lnkd.in/e8GFpibx

NASA’s Aeronomy of Ice in the Mesosphere (AIM) mission studied how climate change may influence noctilucent, or night-shining, clouds in our upper atmosphere. This month looks at how heliophysics research — which includes the Sun and the upper layers of Earth’s atmosphere — is influential in environment and sustainability efforts on Earth. NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration #NASA's Apollo Guidance Computer (AGC) successfully guided astronauts to the moon with just 4 KB of RAM, showcasing the incredible ingenuity and efficiency of early engineers. They maximized limited resources, proving that creativity and problem-solving can overcome technological constraints. Today's computers are exponentially more powerful, yet we often underestimate their capabilities. The AGC's achievements remind us that it's not just the hardware, but how we use it that matters. So, the next time your setup feels slow, remember the moon landing—what matters is optimizing and making the most of what you have.

The word Force is described as a push👉 or a pull👈. Earth has a Gravitational Force👇 that arises from its centre. The very word Force itself indicates it must be a matter or something with mass and space. So, who exactly is producing this Force🤔??? I thought deep and concluded that the Earth has its own consciousness or in simple terms Earth has a Soul🧐. The Fireball collaboration team has achieved a groundbreaking milestone in understanding relativistic electron-positron plasmas, which are crucial for decoding the dynamics of black hole jets. Using CERN's HiRadMat facility, they generated an unprecedented high-density beam of electron-positron pairs, exceeding ten trillion pairs. This number is crucial for sustaining a plasma state, allowing detailed laboratory experiments that bridge theoretical simulations and astronomical observations. By extracting 300 billion protons from CERN's Super Proton Synchrotron and targeting graphite and tantalum, the team produced this powerful plasma, setting the stage for future experiments. Their next goal is to observe how these jets interact with plasma to generate magnetic fields, addressing one of the greatest puzzles in high-energy astrophysics. Kudos to the Fireball collaboration for paving the way for deeper insights into cosmic phenomena! #Astrophysics #BlackHoles #PlasmaPhysics #CERN #HiRadMat #FireballCollaboration #ScientificBreakthrough #SpaceScience

Today, COGR submitted a response to NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s request for comments on the agency’s implementation of the proposed “common forms” for Biosketch and Current and Pending Support Disclosure Policy (NASA Document No: NASA-24-040; NASA Docket No: NASA-24-0003). Our letter expresses support for prompt and consistent implementation of the common forms by NASA and all federal agencies. We strongly recommended that NASA implement the common forms with no deviations from the NSTC approved forms. Utilizing the approved forms will ensure consistency and compliance. Included in our letter are specific comments on NASA’s proposed deviations from the common forms.
