Today I got asked: 'What's the most difficult part of you job?' I can honestly say, having worked for companies large and small, and being restricted to how a company can perform to a customer... now at LENSON SELECT (U.K.) LIMITED the buck stops with me... from making transactions easy, fulfilling orders and ensuring on time delivery, building relationships to the point when trust is formed, but also knowing that as a company we exceed every expectation I set. POV: Sales professionals aren't just another wheel in the corporate machine; they are the driving force behind your company's success. My 7-year-old asked me yesterday why salespeople are important. To help him understand I compared sales professionals to an engine in a car. Why not? He is 7 so cars are exciting to him. I explained like an engine powers a car forward, salespeople drive the growth and success of a company. They make money for a company and keep it moving in the right direction, just like a well-functioning engine makes sure the car is running smoothly. Then I told him... On the other hand, an engine that is not working properly can cause breakdowns and delays, just as a poor-performing salesperson can hurt a company's finances, they are not bringing in income for the company. the more of a ASSET you are to a customer, you have a better chance of winning that business. BUT alot of factors always play a big role. 1. representation 2. know your services you offer 3. build a great relationship with that customer. 4. be fair and give a fair price. 5. close the deal 6. ALWAYS be there for that customer 100% of the way. i was told the other day im not good enough for sales or operations. but maybe 1 day someone will see my potential and see what i can do and accomplish...

I may not be Superman, but sometimes in my job I can feel just like the photo (my real physique by the way). Why, you ask? One of my automotive prospects faced a real challenge: a line shutdown was on the horizon when an obsolete TI part was about to run out in their stock. No problem though, they can just send it to any old broker or distributor, right? It wasn't that easy. The part was nowhere to be found. No inventory. Nothing on the open market. Just dust. So, they remembered my outreach and decided to see what I had up my sleeve. With millions in potential losses due to the looming line shutdown, they put their trust in me, but I could tell they had doubts as their team came up empty handed for days. But10 days after I heard from them, the parts they critically needed were in their warehouse - safe and sound. But it wasn't random. Me and the team were able to get the parts straight to them, and that's because we aren't like every other broker or distributor. We boast not only our own inventory but also access to over $1 billion in excess stock from our existing clients. All we had to do was connect with our client who had the parts and needed to sell, then ship them out to the customer. A perfect win-win situation: our client was thrilled to clear unneeded stock from their warehouse, and my newly acquired customer was ecstatic to have production back on track. This isn't a one off: I do this every week for my clients. So, if you're in this position now or anticipate similar challenges in the future, don't hesitate to reach out 📩.
