Turn your backyard or local park into a number wonderland with this exciting Nature's Number Hunt! This fun and educational game gets little ones moving, exploring, and reinforcing their counting skills (1-50). Here's the Scoop: 1. Gear Up: Grab a basket or bag and head outdoors with your little explorer! 2. Challenge Accepted: Create a list (or use pictures) of nature treasures to find, focusing on numbers 1-50 (think 5 leaves, 10 pebbles, 20 blades of grass). 3. Counting Champions: As they discover each item, encourage them to count it out loud! You can even group similar items for a mini math lesson on the go. 4. Nature's Bounty: Celebrate their success when they've found everything on the list! Bonus points for using their treasures in an art project or nature collage. Nature's Number Hunt is a fantastic way to: Boost Counting Skills: Practice counting 1-50 in a real-life setting. Explore the Outdoors: Connect with nature and spark curiosity. Make Learning Fun: Turn number practice into an engaging adventure. So lace up those shoes, grab your little explorer, and get ready to discover the magic of numbers in the great outdoors! #EarlyChildhoodLearning #NaturePlay #CountingFun #OutdoorActivities

April Weekend 3: Backyard Obstacle Course Challenge 🏃 Create a simple yet exciting obstacle course in your backyard or a local park. Utilize everyday items like cones, ropes, and hoops to design a course. Here are some ideas: 🔶 Cone Weave: Set up a series of cones or any similar objects in a zigzag pattern. Participants can weave in and out of the cones either by running, hopping, or even dribbling a ball to add an extra challenge. 🔶 Balance Beam: Use a piece of wood, a sturdy plank, or even a line of tape on the ground to create a balance beam. Participants must walk across without stepping off. For added difficulty, include a section where they must balance a book on their head or carry a water-filled cup without spilling. 🔶 Hoop Jump: Lay out hula hoops or draw circles with chalk on the ground. Participants jump from hoop to hoop with both feet together, ensuring they only land inside the hoops. 🔶 Throwing Station: Set up a target area where participants can throw a ball or frisbee to hit specific points. Use laundry baskets, buckets, or marked areas on a fence as targets. By incorporating these varied and fun stations, your obstacle course will promote physical identity, coordination, and problem-solving for your children (and even yourselves). Do you have more ideas for an obstacle course? Post them below for others to enjoy! #family #parenting #physicaleducation #exercise #getoutdoors #physicalidentity

😎 Summer Fun for Kids and Nannies: Creative Activities to Beat the Boredom (Even When You're Working from Home!) 🌞 We all know the struggle: summer break arrives, the kids are home full-time, and you still have a job to do. It can feel impossible to balance work deadlines with keeping the little ones entertained. But fear not! This list is packed with engaging activities that nannies and kids can enjoy together, keeping everyone happy and (hopefully!) 1️⃣ 🌊 Beat the Heat with Water Games: Water balloon fights are a classic, but you can also get creative with DIY sponge bombs or sprinkler races. If you have access to a pool, Marco Polo or relay races are always a hit. 2️⃣ 🌳 Get Crafty with Nature: Nature walks are a great way to get some exercise and explore the outdoors. Let the kids collect interesting rocks, leaves, or flowers to make a nature collage or craft their own backyard fairy houses. 3️⃣ 🖌 Let's Get Artistic! Instead of a movie night, why not turn the backyard into an art studio? Set up a sheet as a canvas and finger paint with washable paints. You can even create sidewalk masterpieces with chalk! 4️⃣ 🔦 Glow-in-the-Dark Games: Turn off the lights and have a blast with glow sticks! Play tag, build a fort with glow-in-the-dark sheets, or make glow-in-the-dark jewelry. 5️⃣ 🍃 Become Geocaching Adventurers: Explore your neighborhood or a local park on a geocaching adventure! Use a free geocaching app to find hidden containers with little treasures inside. Sign the logbook and leave a small trinket to surprise the next geocacher.

The amusement industry might be about thrills and spills, but at its core, it's about family bonds forged in laughter, shared challenges, and the pure joy of play. Whether it's the excitment after scoring a goal on the soccer pitch from my youngest or the squeals of delight echoing through an indoor adventure park, these moments of connection are the ones that truly matter and where I find joy. That's why, Jai Olayan and I built AJ Playgrounds Installations, we embrace the spirit of play in all its forms, indoors and outdoors with our own families. We support, maintain and build vibrant, imaginative havens where families can reconnect by running, climbing, or even sliding into laughter and explore in a safe, well built adventure park. Every park should have: 1. Annual inspection 2. Replacement parts order list ready 3. Annual training on attractions 4. Review hot areas where you see Injuries occurring more often. The list goes on…. #safetyawareness #safety #adventure #playmatters #familyfirst #soccerandbeyond I know this will land differently for everyone but yes it’s cold on the pitch in Cali. (Yes that’s a heater)
