An inspiring story of Soichiro Honda, the founder of Honda Motor Co. Soichiro Honda had a dream of becoming an automobile manufacturer. He started working in a small workshop, hoping to sell his piston designs to Toyota. However, his first submission was rejected because the designs didn’t meet Toyota’s standards. This failure didn’t stop him—he went back, reworked his designs, and eventually succeeded. But soon after, a factory he built to produce pistons was bombed during World War II. Then, an earthquake destroyed his second factory. Facing extreme adversity, Honda didn’t give up. Instead, he used what resources he had left to start making motorized bicycles to help people get around post-war Japan. This small initiative grew into what would later become Honda Motor Co., a global giant in the automotive industry. The lesson? Persistence and adaptability in the face of failure. Honda faced numerous setbacks, yet his resilience and ability to keep moving forward led to eventual success. His story teaches us that failure is not the end, but a step toward learning and growth. If you’re facing challenges in your job, remember: setbacks are temporary, and persistence can lead to great achievements. #adaptability #inspirational #motivational #nevergiveup

Did you know that the WR-V of Honda stands for ‘Winsome Runabout Vehicle’ and CR-V is ‘Comfortable Runabout Vehicle’. Elevate is sold as WR-V in Japan, whereas Elevate and WR-V are two different models in India. It is interesting to know that one model in one country represent another model in another country. Elevate is a ‘Made in India’ product. The product sells more in Japan than it does in India. More interesting is to notice how exports have drastically increased in the last few months.

✨️Motivation Week - Day 6✨ Stay Motivated with Inspiring Stories Here is one for you… Soichiro Honda started with a small workshop, making parts for Toyota. After WWII, when resources were scarce, he built his first motorised bike using tin cans from surplus military fuel. Even though his factory was destroyed twice, Honda refused to give up. His first motorbike faced rejection and criticism, but he persevered, believing in his dream. In 1958, he introduced the Honda Super Cub, which went on to become the best-selling motorcycle in history—over 100 million units sold globally. Thanks to its reliability, ease of use, and fuel efficiency, the Super Cub's enduring popularity and practical design, even Japan’s postal service relies on it ever since! Honda’s philosophy was, “Success is 99% failure.” How inspiring is that?! What kind of mindset do you need to turn your setbacks into stepping stones for success ✨? #Perseverance #DreamBig #MotivationWeek #StayMotivated #InnerStrength

The Unexpected Journey with a Skoda Octavia RS It all began with my recent car purchase. I had my heart set on an already familiar car for me, but my 18-year-old son had other ideas. He started pushing for a Škoda Group Octavia RS, the sporty version with 250 horsepower, which was parked in the showroom. "Dad, this car is like the new YOU. Agile, flexible, perfect for those who know its true value and leaves no one indifferent," he said. I was speechless. And I bought the car ✅ My son then got to choose our summer vacation destination. He picked Albania, having studied the roads and decided that the terrain's curves and varying driving dynamics would be perfect for testing out the car. He was right ❗ For the first time, I drove with pure enjoyment, appreciating every twist and turn, reveling in the car's capabilities. What’s the point of the story ❓ Had I followed my usual beliefs, I would have bought a car that's part of every major company's fleet – a "safe bet" with a known outcome, without pushing any boundaries. Instead, I changed my #beliefs, and this car brought a new joy and dimension to my driving experience. It's unusual, but I occasionally get asked if it's the RS model. When I confirm it is, those who know what it is start wonderful conversations about the car. This experience taught me that sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone can lead to unexpected joys and connections. --------------- 👉🏻I'm Vladimir, a 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 dedicated to helping leaders unlock their full potential ♻️If you found this post valuable, please share it with your network 🔔Activate the notification bell to ensure you don't miss out on my latest content #LeadershipDevelopment #ExecutiveCoaching #PersonalDevelopment #leadershipcoaching #vladimircoachingjourney #executivecoaching #vladimirbpetrovic

Think of “Alfa Romeo” and your mind will be full of superlatives.. Since its inception in 1920, the company has created vehicles that bring the thrill of sports car ownership to the masses and that's what is special about Alfa Romeo. I've always felt driving an Alfa, you can always sense that the guys designing it had the driver in mind and wanted to build the most exciting car possible. That Giulia Quardrifoglio is a beauty🔥 History tells me that Alfa Romeo vehicles are only for petrolheads or simply for those who enjoy the pleasure of driving a good car. Because Alfa Romeo (and to the same extent Italian cars in general) are usually a bit more tuned for a better driving experience… I've been thinking that causal owners will always be suspicious of reliability, cost of ownership or perhaps the resale value.. And the last one, resale value has always been a cause of concern and is somehow true. Usually, people are satisfied with the high cost of ownership with German brands but if it happens to be an Italian car, they always think. I should've known better.. ALFA is truly by enthusiast for enthusiast. Most underrated cars I've ever witnessed over a period of time..

Very interesting Calculation of Profit per each unit sold compared to 1 Ferrari◇◇◇
Ferrari as we all know is the world’s most profitable car maker. Last year it earned almost €118,000 per car delivered. That’s tons of money, considering that it sold more than 11,000 units! The results are so good that the rest of carmakers look like dwarfs. For instance, Porsche, the second most profitable OEM, needs to sell a bit more than 5 of its cars to match the profits generated by one Ferrari. On the other hand, Great Wall Motors from China needs to sell 415 units.
