Why pH Matters in Desalination The pH level of desalinated water matters significantly for both operational and health reasons. Desalination removes salts but often leaves the water acidic, which, if left untreated, can lead to corrosion in pipes, infrastructure damage, and negative health effects for consumers. Calcite addresses this issue effectively by balancing pH levels and stabilizing water chemistry, providing a natural, safe solution. A properly balanced pH is critical not only to ensure the water's compatibility with distribution systems but also to make it suitable for human consumption. Calcite remineralization is highly effective in adjusting the pH of desalinated water, making it an eco-friendly choice that aligns with environmental guidelines. Compared to other pH-correction methods, calcite offers a sustainable, long-term approach, avoiding the need for synthetic chemicals and additives. For desalination plants, calcite proves to be an invaluable asset in creating a stable, safe, and quality product. Follow along as we dive into the role of calcite in remineralization and why it’s the top choice for desalination experts worldwide. #pHBalance #WaterTreatment #Calcite #SafeWater

Water cremation, also known as aquamation, bio-cremation, or alkaline hydrolysis, is a relatively new alternative to traditional cremation and burial methods. In water cremation, the body is placed in a specially designed vessel filled with a solution of water and an alkali like potassium hydroxide. The mixture is then heated and pressurized to accelerate the natural decomposition process. This process breaks down the body tissues, leaving only bones behind. The remaining bones are then processed into a fine powder, similar to the ashes produced in traditional cremation. Water cremation is considered to be more environmentally friendly than traditional cremation because it uses less energy and does not emit harmful gases into the atmosphere. Additionally, the process is said to be gentler on the body and more efficient at breaking down tissues. It's worth noting that laws and regulations regarding water cremation vary by location, so it may not be available in all areas. Louisiana does not allow them as of now. Does your state?

How do Scale-O Water Softeners work? The Scale-O Water Softener uses revolutionary chelation technology with a special food-grade media that dissolves gradually in water. This process alters the molecular properties of Calcium (Ca+2) and Magnesium (Mg+2) ions, preventing them from combining with negative ions like Chlorides, Sulphates, and Phosphates. As a result, insoluble salts like Calcium and Magnesium Chlorides, Sulphates, and Phosphates are not formed, preventing scale formation. The Ca+2 and Mg+2 ions remain in a free state, retaining their essential mineral benefits for daily water consumption. Learn More! Calcium builds up and the excess becomes insoluble due to the cathode and anode stripping the water into alkalized/acidic streams. Your bottled "ionized" or "alkaline" water will never do this because it is not naturally processed. Ionized water is all natural, via electricity and not chemicals. Your favorite bottled water is chemically altered AND it costs 100x what my machine costs. #kangenwater #ionizedwater #waterionizer #enagicthailand
