Hello LinkedIn community! Today, let's explore how to design and implement #team-building events that align with diverse company cultures and objectives. 1. Understand Your Company Culture and Objectives: Take the time to assess the #values, beliefs, and norms that shape your organization. Consider the goals and objectives you want to achieve through team-building activities. This understanding will help you design events that are relevant, meaningful, and aligned with your company's unique culture and objectives. 2. Embrace Diversity and Inclusion: Consider factors such as physical abilities, #cultural differences, and personal preferences when designing the events. 3. Tailor Activities to Different Learning Styles: People have different learning styles, and team-building events should cater to these diverse preferences. Some individuals may prefer hands-on activities, while others may thrive in more reflective or collaborative settings. Incorporate a variety of activities that appeal to different #learning styles. This approach ensures that all team members can actively engage and contribute to the event. 4. Incorporate Personal and Professional Development: Consider incorporating activities that help individuals develop new skills, enhance leadership abilities, or gain insights into their strengths and areas for improvement. By combining team building with personal and professional growth, you create a more impactful and valuable experience for participants. 5. Evaluate and Iterate: Continuous evaluation and iteration ensure that your team-building activities remain relevant, engaging, and aligned with the evolving needs of your #organization. Designing and implementing team-building events that align with diverse company cultures and objectives requires careful consideration and planning. By understanding your #company culture, embracing #diversity and inclusion, #tailoring activities to different learning styles, fostering collaboration and #communication, incorporating personal and professional development, and evaluating and iterating on your events, you can confidently create meaningful and impactful team-building #experiences. #teambuilding #teambonding #teambuildingactivities #teambuildingevent #ghanabusiness

🌍 Reflecting on Highspot's 2023 Global Stand for Change Learning Conference: A Week of Inspiration and Learning! 🌟 Last week, we came, we saw, we learned, and now we're fully equipped to take action toward fostering inclusion in the workplace. 🚀 Highspot's annual Stand for Change Learning Conference was an incredible journey, with over 20 different learning sessions worldwide, led by a stellar lineup of facilitators. We delved into a variety of essential topics, including working in intergenerational teams, where we explored the unique challenges they face and the immense opportunities for co-mentoring across all generations. We delved into the true essence of allyship and challenged ourselves to reflect on our own allyship practices, seeking ways to do better. A data-driven perspective on bias opened our eyes to how bias can suppress inclusion, prompting us to rethink our approach. Understanding team psychological safety was another highlight, and we explored actionable strategies to infuse it into our team meetings and interactions. And that's just a glimpse of the wealth of knowledge we gained during this enriching conference! As we reflect on these experiences, it's clear that DEI&B is deeply ingrained in our Highspot culture - but requires continuous intention and practice. 🤝 Special thanks to our Global Stand for Change Crew for bringing this fun-filled and immersive experience to life Stephanie Hernandez (She / Her / Ella), Molly Bruder, Steven Byeon! We're energized to keep the momentum going and make lasting change. 💪 #StandForChange #InclusionMatters #DEIandB #HighspotCulture Dr. Liz Wilson, Glodean Champion, SSBB, Dr. Asif Sadiq MBE, Alysha M. You know how it is: you go to a work conference, have an AMAZING time🙌 , learn a ton 😎 & then come back to the office & promptly forget everything you said you were gonna implement. 😬 (It's okay. We're human. After a few days at a conference, that work you have waiting for you isn't going to get done on its own magically, right? ) 🙃 So when Emily & Steph came back from the Association for Talent Development (ATD)'s annual conference in New Orleans in May, they did something awesome: they prepared an entire presentation with their biggest takeaways from the event. 🥰 We loved learning about their learning, so we thought: why not share their takeaways with our Perk community? Over the next several weeks, we'll bring one actionable learning to you a week, starting tomorrow, all courtesy of Emily & Steph. These takeaways got us thinking about the impact of investing in your organization's leaders & providing them with growth opportunities. Many of the companies we work with are always wondering: what's the benefit of these opportunities? Is there a measurable ROI? 📊 Steph answered all of this in one of her recent LinkedIn posts. Being on the receiving end of learning & development helped her feel even more valued & she was eager to absorb what she'd learned and bring it back to our team. 🤩 She also gained valuable perspective in two ways: being away for several days required strengthening her delegation skills 💪 & allowed her to focus on strategic thinking & innovation. 💡 And, it boosted her confidence BIG time. Over the course of the conference, she not only gained new skills but felt validated in her existing abilities. 🎉 Long story short: professional development & learning? Worth it. ✅ Have you had a great professional development experience recently? We'd love to hear about it, Scott Easton, LEED AP Shayda Gregory Nina Balensiefer! #ProfessionalLearning #ProfessionalDevelopment #ATD2024 #AssociationForTalentDevelopment

Juggling Balls 🤹♀️ What does it have to do with #circulareconomy and #innovation? We're at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel for our two day experiential learning event today and tomorrow where participants familiarise themselves with innovation dynamics and the #designthinking process. This experiential learning game illustrates how quickly things can get out of hand when we're busy and overwhelmed at work. We stop following simple processes that were previously agreed and etiquette falls by the wayside. However, following a process and working as a team are the main prerequisites for #collaboration. And collaboration is what makes #innovation possible. And innovation will enable our participants to implement #circulareconomy principles into their organisations. The CEIC team are looking forward to the next two days and hope that there will be many more light bulb 💡 moments for our participants.
