Last year, I got myself a late Christmas present – the AI Devs 2: Reloaded course on integrating AI into application logic, and I had no idea the journey it would lead me on. From day one, I was hooked, waking up a bit earlier each day to dive into the next lesson. Soon after, I built a proof of concept for a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system at work, connecting our knowledge base to an LLM and bringing critical answers right to our fingertips. This project even became the foundation for an internal hackathon, sparking new ideas and opportunities for its application across teams. Now that the third edition of the course has begun, I’m tackling a personal project: building an assistant to help me manage notes, schedules, and even remember my preferences. It’s something I can rely on to keep me organized and productive. With week three of AI_devs about to kick off, my assistant already understands audio, pictures, and text, more than a single model can do, and I can't wait to see how it will evolve in the coming weeks! One of the things that can't be overappreciated is the community created by Adam Gospodarczyk 🔥 Jakub Mrugalski and Mateusz Chrobok — supportive, passionate, always full of great ideas, insights and tools at hand. 🌟 I'm excited to share that I have successfully completed the 5-Day Gen AI Intensive Course in November 2024! 🚀 This comprehensive program was an incredible opportunity to deepen my knowledge in Generative AI. Over five intensive days, I attended daily seminars, analyzed cutting-edge white papers, and completed 8 insightful practical daily assignments plus a special bonus session to strengthen my understanding of this evolving field. This unique experience allowed me to dive deep into the world of Generative AI, exploring foundational models, embeddings, generative agents, and more. As a testament to my efforts and achievements, I also earned badges for my work. A big thank you to the organizers of Google and Kaggle and fellow participants for making this such an enriching experience.
