𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣 𝗧𝗘𝗖𝗛 𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗩𝗢𝗟. 𝟮 🚀 We are ready to catalyze change together at this years Deep Tech Unconference, hosted by the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt, 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗭𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗳𝘁, Vsquared Ventures, DTCF | DeepTech & Climate Fonds and Yttrium. The next global #DeepTech leaders can and will come out of #Europe - however there is an urgent need to collectively evaluate key topics that have a huge impact on their future! How do we need to adapt to support the growth of industry leaders? Which role does unity across the sector play? What best public policy practices from across the globe should Europe adapt? And what impact does the currently shifting geopolitical landscape have? 𝗕𝗨𝗧: 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. After an impactful first edition in 2023, this second edition brings together the driving forces in European deep tech. As a pre-event to Munich’s most exciting tech gathering, the Festival der Zukunft by 1E9 and Deutsches Museum, this Unconference allows the exact agenda to be set collaboratively by the participants, with impulses from select industry leaders. Few words can describe the honor of sharing the stage with a legend who had a massive impact on one of my favourite childhood companies, like Electronic Arts (EA) , and was a key figure behind the early raise of NVIDIA. Christopher Evenden you're a legend. We covered some sensitive topics about the replacement of humans and the natural selection that will come with the rise of AI, specifically targeted towards the future of advertisement. A very compelling vision by Walter Pijls, CEO of Brightlands Smart Services Campus. It makes total sense! Developing technology for technology's sake may be fun, but doesn't necessarily bring the world forward on its own. It might even cause the opposite in some cases. Of course, opportunistic application of technology to create new products or services can yield short-term gains for some. But the real potential arises when technology development goes hand in hand with human-centered innovation. That calls for developing a clear understanding of what the customer or society really needs. And subsequently concentrating the always limited resources on developing a solution for just that. Only then we can make a sustainable difference and provide a desirable solution that is both feasible and viable. And Walter is very right, this can only be achieved by addressing the complete ecosystem and by working together for the greater good of all.

Looking forward to it, we'll discuss (Gen) AI and privacy of data. It's a challenge we're now all facing on a daily basis, from deep fake to fake news (have you seen the Russian bots on Twitter giving the recipe for a strawberry tart through prompt injection, or publishing the error from OpenAI because they didn't have enough credits 🤦♂️, it's quite hilarious). We'll also discuss, from a business point of view, how to stay on the bleeding edge of technology while protecting your clients data. Interesting topic!
