Lots of M&A Activity is happening. - The most active sectors for financings included Risk & Compliance, Data Security, and SecOps / IR / Threat Intel - Key M&A deals included Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s acquisition of Juniper Networks for $14.0B, Mimecast’s acquisition of Elevate Security (acquired by Mimecast) , and Delinea’s acquisition of Authomize. - The most active sectors for M&A in January were Security Consulting, Network & Infrastructure Security, and Application Security Cyber is not slowing down coming into 2024.

Just made a cup of tea and I'm now doing some CYBERING... might nominate myself for an award /S but also more seriously... digital systems need more than just THREAT based tooling: PERFORMANCE AVAILABILITY RECOVERABILITY EFFICIENCY COST OPERABILITY (is this even a word?) USEABILITY/USER EXPERIANCE are all important. It's very easy to get focused on the ZOMG THREAT ACTORS like to drink CAPRI SUN and run advanced cyber weapons like ANYDESK and WHOAMI... but when it comes to digital platforms, we have to remember they are part of an ecosystem! Business is not just: SECURITY, there must be balance in the force!
