A brilliant and accessible framework that can be adapted and adopted by any organisation.

Just last week, 118th Wing members joined up with the Tennessee Army National Guard members in their Frontline Leadership Course. This was the first ever Frontline Leadership Course to have Airmen attending and they thrived, gaining recognition for their exceptional skills even in a joint environment. This course, roughly a week long, centered around further developing leadership skills in fundamental military areas. Our existing TSgts and MSgts were trained in how to teach competencies like land navigation, marksmanship, combat lifesavers and 9 line medevac procedures. Being one of these leaders means, not only making some of these hard last-second decisions but also thinking ahead, building a future force and training your replacement. In the agile combat deployment model these leaders play a crucial role in optimizing outcomes amidst challenging circumstances. They are the direct role models for our forces of tomorrow. Joint training, like this course, is integral to this preparation because all mission success, in the world of great power competition, will happen as a united front. We're grateful for the opportunity to train alongside the TN National Guard and eagerly anticipate future collaborations to enhance readiness and joint development among our members. I like this framework. Having worked with the #caf competency framework, this is leaps and bounds ahead in terms of its straightforward and easy to explain framework.

Today is Armed Forces Day. And, with perfect timing, the Institute of Leadership have released a report into military and productivity skills: "Battlefield to Boardroom".
