De Heus Myanmar Runs for A Greener Tomorrow! – Trails for Trees At De Heus Myanmar, we are committed to building a sustainable future. We successfully organized the very first outdoor sustainability event, in collaboration with the Myanmar Ultra Trail Running Association (MUTRA). The event aimed to raise environmental awareness while promoting teamwork, enhancing employee well-being through physical activity, and contributing to a reduced carbon footprint. These objectives are in perfect alignment with our Responsible Feeding Program, a cornerstone of our long-term sustainability strategy. The goal of “Trails for Trees Relay Running” was to perceive which team accumulates the highest number of trees to plant based on the shortest completion time! Despite the challenging trails, with streams, uphill, and downhill in nature amongst the green forest, everyone gave their best efforts to push limits and support each other to finish strong. As the first-ever corporate trail running organized in Myanmar, a total of (62) participants competed on the trails. The event featured (12) teams, each tackling a challenging course of three trail loops with 200 meters of elevation. In the end, the top one team emerged as the “Sustainability Championship Team”, completing the 8.06 km course in 1:36 hours. Through teamwork and determination, the top three teams collectively accumulated 37 trees. In total, all (12) teams contributed to a remarkable effort, with 100 trees to be planted during the 2025 monsoon season. Huge congratulations to all our colleagues for pushing their limits and dedication to “Run for Greener Tomorrow”. It was a day of powering progress for team building, friendly competition, physical well-being, and environmentally friendly initiative for 2024 by De Heus Myanmar colleagues! #RunForThePlanet #ResponsibleFeeding #WinningSpirit #GreenerTomorrow #DeHeusMyanmarOfficeEvent #poweringprogress #Carbonfootprint #sustainability
