Happy World Food Safety Day! Theme - Prepare for the unexpected Every year on June 7, we mark #WorldFoodSafetyDay. The focus for this year is to raise awareness of food safety incidents among all individuals. This year's theme emphasizes the significance of being prepared to tackle any food safety situation, regardless of how minor or serious it may be. Incidents involving food safety are those in which there is a known or suspected harm to health from eating the food. Food fraud, natural disasters, insufficient controls, and accidents are a few reasons why food incidents occur. While legislators, food safety authorities, farmers, and food business owners must work hard to be prepared to handle food safety problems, consumers can also actively participate. Therefore, it is our responsibility to ensure the safety of food and prepare for the unexpected. Happy World Food Safety Day!
