Though all efforts are aligned to bringing OOSC into schools, this infographic is alarming and its just ICT. The provinces are worse off. Can we compensate the opportunity cost that is needed to bring every child back to school, especially in light of crippling economic conditions? Not as straightforward as we think. Time for everyone to start thinking out-of-the-box.
Labour Day reminds us of the children who are out of school. Let's work together to ensure every child gets the education they deserve. #LabourDay #EducationForAll

NOTHING IS " IMPOSSIBLE" TO ACCOMPLISH ! Simply because, I can learn by listening and recalling whatever I hear, see and/or read IRRESPECTIVE of person, place, subject, trade or circumstances that I pass by or with!
Sadhu saabdhaan!! Before promoting and provoking them, the beneficiary 'limelight student coordinators' to open their said new political party in the name of preventing and/or confronting any further/ upcoming fascisms, we, the media personnel must be responsible enough to check thoroughly and very carefully the background of those beneficiary 'limelight student coordinators' and ask them expose by themselves honestly whether they had and/or have any connection with any before, during and aftermath of so called revolution! Because, If it reveals that they had any connection with any political parties prior movement and yet claim the victory is the sole achievement of their exclusive and isolated movement and ignore the contribution, support , contribution or conspiracy of the mass people and / or the members of other political parties , social media activists and other political or non political aggrieved citizens then they will neither get all out support of the mass people nor even from their fellow students-coordinators and the other dedicated students who also were seen boldly faced the guns/ took bullet and/or ready to die while those politically ambitious coordinators were cowardly gave or rad their statement from DB Office merely under threat and/or in fear of assault!! We have also to keep the fact in mind that universally Politics or political business starts with emotion; transforms into addiction; engulfed with corruption; and ends with depressions, disgrace or assassinations/ unnatural death is the most risky profession in the world! Political career and/or carrier is, therefore, a journey of one way traffic AND difficult and/or impossible to drive back to the same road or route to become neutral and return to normal life!

Agree. Great discussion piece. I also hope more people will begin reframing this issue. Education is not vocation. Education is not the degree, it is about the teachers and the school and the student all investing themselves. Education is a vital tool to helping you process information and engage in critical thinking. If nurtured and respected, it will help us continue to grow and evolve through life. What you do for a living sometimes requires specific educational training, but that should be separated from foundational education everyone deserves. Just as it should be separated from a vocation that provides access to a dignified path to a decent living and is equally deserved by all. If we gave everyone equal access to a strong foundational education we would probably have less of this issue right now. Be nice if we could prioritize a good education for all, take profiteering out of the higher education system, and focus on redrawing the important line of distinction. https://lnkd.in/e9X3KT4C

Former PWP at Nottingham Healthcare Nhs Trust Now campaign #ForThe100 We need a duty of care in higher education to protect students and staff
I'm still struggling with understanding the role of the students union. In the workplace it is to represent its members both as a group in decisions the employer makes that impact on its workers and also support individual staff with problems or complaints. last year I spoke to SU officers and it feels like they are forever firefighting and unable to take strategic matters forward because there is so much else to do. this article gives some insight into the challenges faced by SUs in small institutions. https://lnkd.in/ebfDvm8E
