From the previous months, we have already introduced what is the “Energy Efficiency,” “Energy Audit,” “Type of Energy Audit,” and “Energy Audit Procedure.” This month, we would like to introduce the “Energy Manager Vs. Energy Auditor.” An “Energy Audit” is an act of verifying, monitoring, and analyzing energy usage. It involves providing technical recommendations for improving energy efficiency, along with cost-benefit analysis, to achieve three main goals: reducing energy consumption (electricity), lowering energy bills (electricity bills), and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions. An “Energy Management” refers to the activities to reduce energy consumption through continuous improvement in energy efficiency under a systematic management system. The Energy Auditor’s task is to conduct the energy audit.
