In my role, one of my primary goals is to regularly foster a sense of well-being and tie our company core values into the daily activities of the organization. “Show appreciation” is one of the easiest, yet most creative values I get to act on. I am constantly challenged with coming up with new ideas to show our employees how much we appreciate them, and although it can be a challenge at times trying to please every type of person and work with budget constraints, sometimes the simplest ideas work out the best. Queue Taco Tuesday! Everyone’s favorite weekly holiday. This morning we brought in Taco supplies and had the staff make their own Taco in a Bag. This mini celebration takes away no time from employees who feel too busy to participate in company activities, works for most types of diets and is a fun , more unique option than ordering in pizza ( although, everyone loves pizza once in a while). Grateful to work for a company who allows me to explore my creativity, and rarely says no to the ideas I bring that I feel will benefit the human side of the organization. 👌

🌮 Taco About Appreciation! 🌮 Exciting times in the Mlytics family! A couple of months ago, we introduced Taco to our Slack channels, and oh boy, it’s been a game-changer! 🌶 It’s more than just a scrumptious snack; it’s our delightful way of sprinkling “Thank You” vibes for all the fantastic contributions, no matter how big or small. 🌟 With every taco shared, our workspace brims with appreciation, creating a more flavorful and animated environment. It’s heartwarming to see every member feeling cherished for their everyday inputs, whipping up a salsa of positivity and gratitude! 💃 Here’s a quirky twist - I’ve unlocked a “Taco Achievement!” 🏆 A bit clueless about what it entails, but I’m rooting for it to signify my role in disseminating tons of positivity and appreciation in our fabulous team because uplifting each other—that’s the ultimate win! 🙌 Here’s to more Tacos, boundless appreciation, and deciphering more of these amusing achievements! Keep the crunch going and let’s turn our workplace into a fiesta of positivity and acknowledgment! 🎉 #TeamAppreciation #WorkplaceCulture #EmployeeRecognition

Next up in our Big Dwayne Energy employee spotlight series, where we showcase our incredible team is... Olcomendy, George - VP, National Accounts ⚡️ 1. How are you bringing Big Dwayne Energy to ZOA? First, I truly believe that this brand is one of the best tasting energy drinks on the market. I am committed to making sure this brand is growing and is available across the country in all our leading retailers. If this product is not available, how can they experience the brand. I wake up every day energized to find ways for our retail partners to bring on ZOA Energy. BDE is a mindset that I carry across the organization to inspire others. 2. What is your favorite thing about working at ZOA? Definitely the people and the culture that has been developed here over the last 3 years. I come to work energized by the folks that surround me every day. By far, this has been the most fun and rewarding job I have had. Make no mistake, it's never easy but coming to work everyday here has been a moment in time that I will never forget. 3. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? It would have to be pasta. Any type. I cannot imagine not having an option in a meal selection that does not have pasta. I absolutely loved my mom’s homemade pasta sauce. 4. What is your favorite ZOA flavor and why? Frosted Grape. Can’t really figure out why, as grape has never really been a favorite flavor of mine but I LOVE ZOA Frosted Grape. 5. What is your biggest Big Dwayne Energy moment? Two moments stick out for me. First would be our XFL tie in with HEB. We had the opportunity for our founders meet and greet at HEB in-store and then experienced the XFL championship game with all in San Antonio. Second would be a most recent win, bringing Albertsons Companies on board nationally. It has been a work in the making for a long time and just being able to tell our entire team of the win, brought out a Big Dwayne Energy moment that I will not forget. #ZOAEnergy #BigDwayneEnergy #EmployeeSpotlight #SalesTeam

An ex-ghostwriter who turned his passion for business and stories into a business that helps others find their story and grow their business.
I worked At Taco Bell For A Year… Here’s What I Learned: 1. Smiles Open Doors I took pride in being the fastest, friendliest burrito roller out there. I also smiled a lot. And people noticed. I regularly got tips, job offers and complements. One customer told me: “you won’t be here long. Keep up the energy and hard work.” He was right. 2. Empathy = Influence People constantly asked about my opinion on their life, my values, and my faith. And they listened to what I said. Why? Because I genuinely cared. As a result, I gained massive respect and influence with both co-workers and clients. 3. Leaders Don’t Need Titles I started a push-up contest in the middle of a slow shift. And the whole team followed including the manager. Why? Because, I led by example. They worked faster, harder, longer and did pushups because I acted like a leader I didn’t need a title. 4. People Enjoy Humans Taco Bell Sucks. But the same people came everyday because they wanted: - a small laugh - A quick conversation everyday in the - A friendly face. Smile. Be a human. People need it. 5. People Are Attracted To Struggle 11:30p on a Friday and a ⚾️ team placed a $1000 order. One hour later & we finished. People started clapping for us. They had been watching us work, like it was an episode of Hell’s Kitchen. Apparently, that was worth the wait. 6. Communication Is King During that Hell’s Kitchen episode, I made sure to explain to every customer what was going on. They instantly went from angry to sympathetic. Remember. Things go wrong. Communication helps make it better.

🌮 Happy Taco Tuesday, Everyone! 🌮 As we tackle another productive week, let's take a moment to celebrate one of the most delicious days of the week – Taco Tuesday! Whether you're a fan of traditional street tacos, enjoy experimenting with taco bowls, or love to load up on all the toppings, there’s no denying the universal appeal of a good taco. But beyond the delicious flavors, Taco Tuesday serves as a fantastic metaphor for our professional lives: 1. Variety is the Spice of Life: Just as there are countless ways to customize your tacos, our careers are filled with opportunities to explore different paths and spice things up with new challenges. 2. The Best Results Come from Combining Ingredients: A great taco balances flavors and textures, much like successful projects rely on the combination of diverse skills, ideas, and teamwork. 3. Consistency Matters: Celebrating Taco Tuesday weekly reminds us of the importance of consistency and dedication, whether it’s in perfecting a taco recipe or achieving our professional goals. And remember, whether you’re crunching numbers or tacos today, let’s make it a fulfilling and productive day! #TacoTuesday #ProfessionalGrowth #Teamwork

Who doesn't like popcorn? 🍿 Today's International Popcorn Day, and we're taking this very (not-so) serious day to heart! In the spirit of this fun day, let's talk about something equally delightful - the uniqueness of our teams. Just like every popcorn kernel pops in its own unique way, each member of our teams brings their own special flavor to the mix. This should be your secret ingredient – or, in keeping with the theme, our 'butter' – that makes working together not just productive, but also a lot of fun. And if your employees are happy and have a high job satisfaction, they: 👏 Are more likely to work well 👏 Stay longer 👏 Have higher loyalty 👏 Are more productive So, here's a toast (or should we say, a 'pop'?) to creating a work environment as enjoyable as that bowl of perfectly popped popcorn 🍿 (yes, we have a popcorn machine at our HQ because we love popcorn 😎👇)
