Andela CEO Jeremy Johnson Steps Down, Carrol Chang from Uber Takes Over Andela has announced a leadership change with co-founder and CEO Jeremy Johnson stepping down. Carrol Chang, former Global Head of Driver and Courier Operations at Uber, will take over as CEO effective September 17, 2024. Johnson will remain on Andela's Board of Directors. Chang is expected to bring extensive experience in scaling tech marketplaces, positioning her well to lead Andela into its next phase of growth. Together, all three businesses will form the second largest organization within Delivery Hero, and be led by Tareq Barto, currently Chief Operating Officer of talabat at Delivery Hero.  The new organization will unlock synergies to enable the accelerated growth of the foodora, Yemeksepeti, and foodpanda businesses to support millions of customers across Europe and Asia. The three businesses are powered by Delivery Hero’s Pandora platform technology and the merger will have no impact on their brands’ customers, vendors, and partners. The merger is part of the company’s business strategy to maintain profitable growth and expand on its market leadership globally. The changes will affect some employees.
