Helping healthcare and hospitality organisations with outsourced HR support. Maximise employee productivity and engagement for business growth with expert HR advice, coaching and legal compliance.
Let's talk recruitment. I have been supporting a family friend this week with looking for a HR opportunity. It's great to be able to share with them my passion for HR from the last 21 years and talk about the career paths and opportunities available. Whilst I am a generalist offering an outsourced HR Manager service to small local business in and around Stone, Staffordshire as well as small healthcare organisations nationally, there are a lot of different career paths that you can choose in HR. I started out in sickness absence management, then recruitment, then employee relations, then a true generalist as a HR Manager and Head of HR, before self employment, so its exciting for someone new coming into the field to talk to them about the various opportunities. I coach and work alongside non-HR employees in small business who complete HR duties so am used to coaching and developing individuals as they start a career, but one of the things I have noticed is still the lack of salaries being advertised on some roles. 'Competitive' What does that mean? You will compete with a salary that someone else has offered for an amazing, future star? Or, you will wait and see what the person expects and then if its low, give them that, or if its too high you will ghost them? All organisations have budgets and know what they have available. The best organisations will have done some benchmarking to know what is competitive and will advertise the role accordingly. The amazing organisations will know the value of bringing an excellent employee into their business, developing them, allowing them to grow and seeing the return on investment over and over again. Share your salaries. A candidate will know whether its the right level, whether their worth is being valued and will apply or not, rather than wasting their time. Not to mention your time. How much longer does it take to recruit a role with an undisclosed salary because you receive such a broad range of applications, or perhaps that is why you are not getting applications. #recruitment #hrconsultant #hrsupport #smallbusinesssupport #healthcarehr #CIPD

Human Resource Executive. Human Resource Assistant. Administrator.HR Coordinate. Recruiter. Recruitment Specialist
Being a HR I realized that on a daily basis HR positions are going more difficult and we divide into different positions Like HR Executive,HR Officer, HR Generalist, HR Coordinator ,Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Specialist, Technical Recruiter, HR Operations but roles and responsibilities are same in every company. Many companies hire different employees for the hiring department so when they switch their job they have no experience on the other side, they are rejected. so gives a chance to other candidates to learn the others domains in HR not rejected just on this reason they have no experience in that domains. #HRcommunity #HR #Coopratesector #discussion

Premier Recruiter || I connect talent with opportunity || Developer of the InstallMint™ In-House HR Program || Author || Columnist
A young candidate said she wants to work in the field of HR She had been referred by a friend who told her she had gotten a job in "HR" Before moving forward, I asked her to clarify her understanding of the term HR As it can encompass various aspects such as recruitment, managing employee benefits, and addressing internal employee concerns related to work and time off. I explained to her Her friend is recruiting for an agency that hires therapists and the like, which is essentially sales. In her mind, she believed that HR only involved handling internal employee issues which she felt she had a passion for The question that she asked then was What are some ways to break into this field with no experience? In truth, this question is asked in any field that you wish to pursue. So the question is What do you assume someone who works in HR does when they don't elaborate? #humanresources #hr #careers

Idk about these job adverts that are titled “HR Director,” “Chief People Officer,” “CHRO,” or some other form of Head Honcho in charge of all things HR.. only to discover in the actual job description that it is for a consultant role within a company providing varied HR services for small to midsize-size start-ups or mom and pop businesses that need HR but don’t have a clue about how to actually bring HR into the org. Your titles are a sham. The only acceptable title that you should be advertising is “HR Consultant,” period. Anything else is b.s. Do Better. #HRNonsense #ActualJobTitles #BeTransparent #WhatElseAreYouNotTellingMe #JobTitlesThatMakeSense
