Marketing & CS job seeekers: Companies hiring today for GTM roles want ACCOUNTABILITY for results- not merely “what you did” Consider learning from quota-carrying sellers in the way you structure your resumes. Under prior roles: 1. Define what you were expected to drive in each fiscal year | quarter | month (depending on the cycles by which you were measured). Be clear on the measures (NRR, qualified pipeline, etc) 2. Share the actuals of what you achieved. (Numbers and percent above goal where possible) 3. Include stack rankings where possible to identify how you performed relative to your peers * Some Marketing and CS roles may not lend themselves easily to quantification or direct comparison. Think about ways you can clearly showcase achievements in such situations: key project outcomes, customer satisfaction scores, or other qualitative measures of success.
