I had a brilliant afternoon chatting with George Nott on Monday on The Grocer stage at the Food & Drink Expo.  🍴We took a deep dive into Deliveroo's journey from serving our first customers in London to now working with around 60,000 of the most loved restaurants right across the UK. 🛒Our restaurant offering is the foundation of our business, and alongside that our team has built a successful on demand grocery offering. In the second half of 2023, grocery represented 13% of total GTV on the app, reaching an annual run-rate GTV of £1 billion in Q4. George and I discussed consumer trends underpinning this growth - and how our grocery business has become an important part of our customers' everyday lives. 🛍️We also covered Deliveroo’s exciting move into retail - and how we’re scaling up selection across DIY, baby, toys, homeware and more - discussing our strategy for growth and innovation, and where Deliveroo Shopping goes next. In 11 years Deliveroo has grown into a large global business, with presence in 10 countries. However there is still a substantial opportunity for growth across our entire portfolio and our job is to unlock consideration for as many customer missions as possible. COLD FOOD - BAD ATTITUDE Food was delivered cold as the driver had other deliveries before they came to me. Food had to be reheated as it was too cold to eat (not always a great idea food poisoning etc). Complained to CEO of Deliveroo and they will NOT refund my money as they claim they were only 9 minutes late on their delivery! Food was cold what else can you say? Clearly reading all the bad reviews on here for this company they need my money to stay afloat! Take my advise and use other delivery companies as these clowns do not care what state or temperature your food arrives in so long as they deliver it and get their money!

Deliveroo is indeed a good company, i worked with deliveroo dubai for two years and it was just amazing. i hope i could someday get an opportunity to work with Deliveroo UK or USA
