Diversity. Inclusivity. Two words that I am extremely passionate about. And thankfully, I'm not alone. Out of all of the fantastic sessions I've watched recently, the Black Fleet Network™ panel at DeliveryCon 2023 is one I just can't stop thinking about. I wrote a quick recap of some of the top takeaways, including Devin Biglow's comments about how we can't all be a team of quarterbacks, Dr. Tyra Jones recommendations to find out what your employees are passionate about, and Lora Dunton's story of a recent hire from an unlikely place. Presenting a session at any event takes a lot of time, planning, and fine-tuning until you get the message JUST right. But at the end of the hour, the feeling you get when you share your knowledge and insights with a group hungry for information is like none other. You made a difference in someone's day. Provided that "a-ha!" moment they needed to solve their problem. I had a blast moderating two panels at DeliveryCon last week.
