Delta Dental Ins. reposted this
Wellness is something I’m very passionate about in both my personal and professional life. Prioritizing our own health and well-being is THE most important thing we can do for ourselves. In honor of #NationalWelllnessMonth – and, to hold myself accountable – I wanted to share some of my personal wellness wins over the past few months: (From left to right): 🟢 Running the Golden Gate Bridge with my wife, Shannon – a bucket list item for me. I’ve never called myself a runner, but I’ve worked over the past couple of years to increase my abilities in this space. I went from being able to barely run a mile to running a 10K. 🟢 Biking the trails of Crystal Cove State Park with my Delta Dental Ins. colleague, Dominic Titcombe. As avid mountain bikers, we challenged ourselves with this ride and it did not disappoint – the views especially! 🟢 Early morning movement when I’m on the road for work. Katherine Wilburn and Katie Moran served as my accountability partners/colleagues this week with a workout class in San Francisco. 🟢 Staying active with my family. We recently took a trip to Seattle, and while there may have been a few, “Are we there yet??” comments, we enjoyed our time exploring the city together on foot. 🟢 And finally…wellness comes in many forms; at Delta Dental, we believe there are four pillars to well-being: physical, emotional, financial and social. This past Tuesday, Kenzie Ferguson and I donated blood at the American Red Cross Northern California Coastal Region in honor of #WorldHumanitarianDay. It was a great opportunity to give back and contribute to the well-being of our local Delta Dental Ins. communities. LinkedIn Community: What are some of your wellness wins?? Share a picture with me, if you feel inclined! #lifeatddins
