Regener8 Power, in partnership with Astra Power Generation and Verto Solar, successfully developed and secured planning consent for the 50MW Croome Solar Park in 2021. Located on the former Defford RAF airfield, this project was designed with sustainability in mind, leaving 6 hectares for skylark habitats and working closely with the local Wildlife Trust to ensure the site integrates harmoniously with its natural surroundings. A green chapter added on the roof of our new assembly hall! ☀️   We recently moved into our new assembly hall - an exciting step for Geovent! But the building wasn't quite finished yet. On the roof we were planning an important green initiative: the installation of our new solar panels!   Together for green energy: With support from the EU EEnergy programme (SMP-COSME-2023-EENEE) and a strong collaboration with StillingSolceller and SolarBalance ApS, we have taken a concrete step towards providing green energy for our production.   The investment in solar panels is central to our sustainability journey. That's why UN Sustainable Development Goal 12 on responsible consumption and production is also an important part of our strategy. Not least in an industry where environmental impact is often a challenge. We want to grow responsibly - while minimising our climate footprint in relation to our level of activity.   🔋Facts about the new solar plant 192 solar panels: The plant can produce approximately 100,000 kWh per year. Energy storage: The system includes six batteries of 14 kWh each. Optimised management: With the help of Solar Balance's innovative system, we can choose to store, consume or purchase electricity at the most efficient times.   We are excited to continue our journey towards greener production and look forward to the positive changes it will bring in the coming years!   Want to know more about Geovent?
