This model is a (LNG) fractionation train. Natural gas will be processed to remove the heavier hydrocarbons. In this case, we have two different wells. The gas is processed by passing the raw gas from these two wells through three towers [De-Methanizer(reboiled absorber),De-Ethanizer(distillation Column)& De-Propanizer(distillation Column)] and two devices: a pump that pumps the liquid from the first tower to the inlet of the second tower, and a valve that reduces the pressure coming out of the second tower. The model was created using Aspen Hysys V10. #Chemical_Engineering

What would you do if blockages crippled your refinery's production? A Supermajor in the USA faced process flow reduction caused by blockages in a heat exchanger bundle, with a differential pressure of 40 psi across the inlet and outlet.
