Pretty neat new feature. You can now access the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine directly from Google Search. I’m thinking this is probably going to expose some unexpected things about publishers, though. From tbe article: “To access this new feature, conduct a search on Google as usual. Next to each search result, you’ll find three dots—clicking on these will bring up the “About this Result” panel. Within this panel, select “More About This Page” to reveal a link to the Wayback Machine page for that website.”

Google has been working on an indexing issue since January 31st. Click below to follow updates. The recent problems with Google's indexing system are not directly related to the removal of cache links. Google's indexing of a page occurs via a separate rendering process, and the presence of a cached version does not impact actual ranking. While Google Cache can be a valuable tool for optimizing organic rankings, it is not the cause of the current indexing issues The indexing issues may be due to various factors such as technical issues, Google bugs, or updates that impact Google's algorithms. It's important to address these issues by utilizing tools like Google Search Console to identify and fix any indexing problems.

Google's search algorithm wasn't created at a single point in time. But rather has evolved continuously since its launch in 1998. The very first iteration, called **PageRank**, was developed by Google's founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Focused on the number and quality of links pointing to a webpage as an indicator of its importance. Since then. Google has made countless improvements and additions to its search algorithm. Incorporating factors like user search intent, mobile-friendliness, and content quality. These updates happen **frequently**, with major core updates occurring several times a year. So, while PageRank marked the initial foundation in 1998. Google's search algorithm is a continuously evolving and improving system.

I am trying now to fix indexing in Google search. I need to rebuild the URL navigation, I suppose. Because so many auto-generated by Google links were created, and they are not relevant. #buildinpublic -> likeRemote.com
