Ant Group's subsidiary, Ant Cryptographic Computing Technologies, launched the SecretFlow Cloud platform during the Inclusion Conference on the Bund on September 6, 2024. The platform is designed for secure data circulation and research for large language models (LLMs), ensuring data privacy throughout its lifecycle. Ant Group Vice-President Wei Tao highlighted the importance of confidential computing, which uses cryptography and trusted hardware to maintain data invisibility to all except keyholders, thus reducing risks of data leaks. The platform provides complete data lifecycle security, secure R&D capabilities on encrypted data, and deployment options across on-premise, private, and public clouds.
