Today, we celebrate Pan African Women's Day, recognising the incredible contributions and resilience of African women. As a firm with deep African roots, we honour the women who shape our communities and industries. We proudly acknowledge the exceptional African women within our firm and our clients, partners, and peers leading in various sectors. We have to get inside and rearrange the furniture!” On this day, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where women thrive, and their contributions are valued. Celebrating Women’s Contributions and the Ongoing Fight for Equality Today, as we reflect on the courage and determination of the women who marched in 1956, we honour their legacy and acknowledge the progress we’ve made. The South African women's march was a pivotal moment in our history, showcasing the strength and unity of women who demanded justice and equality. Fast forward to today, and women are leading with exceptional strength and vision in various spheres—home, work, business, and society. Their contributions are invaluable, and their leadership is inspiring. From boardrooms to communities, women are breaking barriers and setting new standards. However, despite these advancements, the journey toward full emancipation is far from over. We must continue to address the challenges that women face, including inequality, gender-based violence (GBV) and femicide. It’s crucial that all pillars of society come together in a unified and coordinated approach to accelerate the fight against these issues. On this Women's Day, I want to celebrate the incredible women who have shaped my life and the lives of many. Your resilience, dedication, and leadership are commendable. Happy Women’s Day to all South African women and women around the world. Let us continue to champion equality and work towards a future where every woman can thrive without fear. #WomensDay #EqualityForAll #EndGBV #WomenLeadership #EmpowerWomen #CelebrateWomen #WomenInBusiness #SouthAfrica #GlobalWomen #FightForJustice #WomenRise

Today is International Women's Day (March 8). It is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women's equality. The global campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is #InspireInclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women. © March 8 is the most ideal day to raise an awareness that we, women are more than just a nobody. Always bear in mind – you are not only identified as a woman but regarded as an epitome of fortitude and robustness: “BABAE KA, HINDI BABAE LANG.” Happy International Women's Day

International Women's Day is a powerful opportunity for women to come together in solidarity and support. If yo have time for a cuppa get into my blog (3 to 4 mins)on how women can support each other on International Women's Day and beyond. We all know this, we just need little reminders. And by coming together to support, uplift, and empower each other, women can harness the collective strength and resilience needed to overcome obstacles. International Women's Day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of solidarity and unity in today's world. https://lnkd.in/ezG-bSgu
