The Royal National Institute of Blind People has launched a powerful campaign encouraging the simple act of adding alt-text descriptions to online images. By partnering with agency MullenLowe on thought-provoking outdoor ads, they are raising awareness of this vital accessibility tool. Photos and illustrations create a more approachable experience by providing context and breaking up blocks of text. But without meaningful alt text, people with visual impairment miss out on these benefits. With the empathy and creativity of campaigns like these, we can make imagery accessible to everyone.
