Dear Fleet Managers, Do not assume that hiring experienced drivers is enough. While experience is invaluable, continuous improvement and vigilance are crucial for maintaining safety and efficiency. It is essential to implement daily debriefings and safety toolbox meetings. These sessions should cover daily vehicle checks, including tires, brakes, clutch, and throttle application, and emphasize maintaining safe speeds. Regularly updating drivers on the latest industry trends and technologies through continuous training is equally important. This not only ensures compliance with new regulations but also fosters a culture of safety and excellence. By prioritizing ongoing education and communication, you can significantly reduce risks and enhance the performance of your fleet. Invest in your drivers' growth and well-being, and in turn, you will see improved safety records, operational efficiency, and overall fleet success. #fleetmanagement #fleetsafety #driversmanagement

🏗 Getting the materials to the site is the first step. The second step is receiving them, checking them, and delivering them to the place of work with the right stuff, at the right time, at the right location the first time. I was taught about logistics plans early on in my career, but it was just a drawing to me that setup the job. --I found out later that it is so much more than that-- Here are some tips: 1️⃣ There is not just one logistics plan. There are six to cover safety, signage, and the phases of the project. 2️⃣ They are not just made and put up on the wall. They are used daily and updated constantly. 3️⃣ They are an anchor for the delivery drivers, riggers, forklift operators, hoist operators, and crane operators. They need that coordinated plan to know where to put things. 4️⃣ The logistics map is used in your look-ahead planning, weekly work planning, and day planning. When materials are scheduled to arrive, ask what, when, and where and draw it on the map. The truth is that materials typically move about 9 times before they end up installed. That is a HUGE amount of waste. What if we had great logistics plan tools, that we used in daily huddles, that targeted staging and delivery locations, that all logistics roles on the site followed...? What would happen for you? Please check out the links in the comments for a great video, a great checklist, and more information on this topic. What is important to you about logistics? Please like and comment below, Love, Jason

Today in the fast changing companies scenario Maintenance employees are not recognised in most of the companies but they are the backbone of a company. There are many reasons behind this. 1)There is no direct KPI as sales and production which company management requires. 2)less evaluation of hidden work done by them till machine breakdown and production loss occurs. 3) Maintaining legal compliance to run company and carbon foot activities not recognised as not direct sales KPI what company requires. 4) Enquires only if the loss occurred due to machine breakdown but no question why it is good and has zero loss if running ok. 5) No appreciation for making a good working environment condition and providing safety at a second home for all employees. 6)less interaction with top company management due to no direct KPI associated with top management of the company. Maintenance employees work involves life risks and hard work at every point whatever they do .so I request every company management to start appreciating them. whose hidden work makes a direct impact on sales and in company growth. Start associating and finding their work in production and sales KPI.
