She has developed and run parent support groups at Northfield the past couple of years. This year, she is collaborating across various teams to offer expanded programming for our Spanish-speaking families, such as our first-ever Spanish-speaking college admission event. The students and families that Brenda supports are lucky to have such a hard working and dedicated professional in their corner. We are so thankful for Brenda each and every day. School bonds do more than improve our buildings; they boost the economy and provide jobs, especially for small and minority-owned businesses. 💼✨ At our 10th Annual Reverse Trade Fair, small businesses networked with prime contractors and DPS stakeholders, gaining exposure and opportunities to collaborate. 🤝 One of our goals with the 2020 bond was to have 24% of our contractors be small businesses, and we exceeded that goal by 4%! 🙌 Thank you, #Denver voters, for investing in our schools and supporting #smallbusinesses in our community! 💙 More info- ourwordourbonddps.org . #MWBE #tradefair #vote
