Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency - City and County of Denver’s Post

As the summer continues to remain warmer than usual, Denver is taking action to combat the heat. To help create actionable solutions to address extreme heat, the city held "heat summits." These meetings included city employees, nonprofit leaders, and community advocates. This series not only helped engage the community in our efforts but allowed our office to: • Talk to affected Denverites • Discuss what is being done and what we plan to do • Collect new ideas to help us boost our solutions Read more about these summits: https://bit.ly/3Z2R0zb
