#resumetips 2 1. Resumes are mostly one page and at most 2 pages. The reason for this is on average recruiters spend 7-8 so the best thing is to include the most important information in less space. You can fix this by simply changing the template. 2. you didn't mention the location you want to work. Based on your post I guess you should write "Houston area (open to remote)" as your location 3. use a professional email (like AllisonPylant@hotmail.com or similar). It will make you more professional. 4. you didn't mention the location of your experiences. 5. you have this bullet point "Organized and managed budgets for Project Managers.". But the reader doesn't get much information. You should tell how your management helped the company. By this, you talk about results, not the same things that other candidates also said. 6. You didn't mention any numbers on your last experience which is the most important experience. Also, you should talk more about your last experience based on your older experiences. the rule is, the most recent ones are the most important ones. So give more space to more recent ones. 7. You could use a summary section to share your significant rules and show off. 8. Overall try to use numbers and be more informative about things you have done. A lot of people have done the same thing but you can stand out with your quality. 9. Try to target more for the values you provided for the company rather than the tasks you had. Including how you helped by tasks you did is a better approach. 10. It is not very important but the job title "Project Administrator" would be better. 11. Your last education was in 2024. It would be better to talk about things you did that make you a better employer. 12. skills are not targeted for the job title. And it can use a better style. "Continuous Learning and Development Mindset" could be used instead of "strong student mentality". Other skills also can be rewritten like this. I hope this was helpful. #resume #resumeservices

I nearly gave up earlier, For the first time in 3 years, I had serious doubts about what the Hell I was doing! I still have space to take on another client. (Does the perfect client even exist?) BBP could definitely do with more outreach. I am owed money & going to have to battle to get it. I feel like I'm constantly trying but not achieving. It's Friday and nothing this week has gone well. I even started looking at jobs. Then ... I scrolled those awful videos on Facebook. I took a deep breath. Saw this quote "A strong woman didn't become strong overnight. She became strong by overcoming all the things that were meant to destroy her." The determination has been reset. Yes, I know I could be doing so more in terms of Health and Safety and helping contractors in getting sites and workplaces compliant. Yes, I know I have a lot of knowledge and wisdom to share. Yes, I'm so aware of the fact that contractors need to get more organised with their admin. Yes, HSE is getting hotter on the trail of sites that need improvement. And my goodness, I am not giving up on something I have worked too darn hard on for the last 3 years! So I'm not giving up! Have you given up on your Health and Safety? https://lnkd.in/enGDuf7Z

How people deal with you depends on your designation - Senior-level executive (takes 5 business days to respond): "Need more time for this." Reply: "Okay sure this can be pushed. Just let me know a tentative timeline please." Mid-level executive (takes 5 hours to respond): "Sorry couldn't check earlier. Will need more time for this." Reply: "I understand you have too much on your plate. But I can push it till day after tomorrow (max). Not more than that. Please get it done by then." Entry-level executive (takes 5 minutes to respond): "There are some other priorities as of now. Can you please push it till tomorrow?" Reply: "No way. This was discussed and aligned with you way back"(yeah 5 minutes is long back) "You cannot bring this up at the end hour and request for more time. This is not done. I need this today. By EOD. I don't care how." #hierarchy #corporatelife #thisishowithappens #truth #linkedincreator #ajkipost
