Today I want to share an exciting research project with you all in just one minute. I'm delving into fascinating world of Ruskin Bond's literary genius and exploration of Indianness in his short stories. I'm working on the translation of one of the Ruskin Bond's most beloved short story, The Blue Umbrella. But this project goes beyond translation. I'm also diving deep into the heart of Bond's narratives like, like the story.. that the stories like, 'The woman in the platform', 'The Blue Umbrella', 'The room of many colours', to understand how he characterizes Indian characters and how he portrays Indianness in these short stories. What makes the project special is that bond of British descent. offers us a unique and very special, very original perspective of India. He paints a vivid and authentic portrayal, steering clear of stereotypes. So what can you expect from this project is that first, I will be presenting a translation of the Blue Umbrella in German so that the German speaking audiences can also enjoy this masterpiece. Second, I will be producing A concise research paper delving into the theme of Indianness in Bonds work, focusing on how he characterizes Indian individuals. Thank you for your time. Stay tuned.
