𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿. 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱. Sharing a reflection I had a couple of years ago. Leadership principles can indeed be applied at home. This was a weekend project and bonding time for our daughters and their dad. Here’s how it unfolded: We supported their individualities by first agreeing on what was 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. Once clear guidelines were established, we empowered them to design their space. They created blueprints, selected materials, and collaborated with dad on the construction. I’ve found that many leadership principles I employ at home are directly applicable to leading teams. In this instance, 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀, while 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝘀, is crucial in inspiring them to achieve more. #Reflection #LeadershipCoach #LeadershipPrinciples #OnLife #LifeReflections #IgnitingTransformation
