Aki-eh Dibinwewziwin (ADLP) is one of Canada’s largest Indigenous and Canadian-owned underground mine contracting partnerships. Atikameksheng Anishnawbek (AA) and Wahnapitae First Nation (WFN) share a 51% ownership of ADLP. We created a website to showcase ADLP's distinctive Indigenous-led approach to mining. This project leverages brand assets that we had previously created for ADLP. The website provides background information and a breakdown of services along with a contact form for inquiries. The primary purpose of the website is to publicize ADLP's land-first approach to mining: to highlight this, we added photos of the communities and their members as well as natural motifs like rock grain, water, and trees throughout every section of the website. ADLP will create high-value careers and lucrative business opportunities for generations to come, and it's a major step for AA and WFN on the path to true sovereignty and independence. #DakotaGold #NYSEAmerican $DC was pleased to release #DrillResults from our #Maitland #Gold Project in #SouthDakota this morning that nearly double the strike length of the modeled Homestake Mine-style gold mineralization. James Berry, Vice President Exploration of Dakota Gold, said, “My experience as an exploration and underground geologist working 10 years at the Homestake Mine informs my belief that the Maitland drill results identifying Ledges 34, 35, 36 and 37 are analogous to the West Ledges of the Homestake Mine. From the drill core, we are seeing steeply plunging or reclined mineralization and comparable grades and thicknesses. The Maitland mineralization is shallower than the West Ledges of the Homestake Mine which produced more than 6 million ounces of gold. The Homestake Mine is the world’s largest banded iron formation hosted gold deposit and similar gold systems include Orla’s Musselwhite and B2’s Back River deposits. The one unique characteristic of the Maitland mineralization is it is close to infrastructure and a 15 minute drive from our head office. As we wrap up our 2024 drill program at Maitland for the year, we will be refining our modelling of the ledges and analyzing the results to create a follow up drill program for the 2025 year that will target shallower intercepts.” https://lnkd.in/d3MGD84X

Earlier this week at Duketon, Regis Resources Ltd and its alliance partner Barminco cut the portal for its Garden Well Main underground mine. Development works associated with its two newest underground mine developments, Garden Well Main and Rosemont Stage 3, are progressing well and both remain on schedule to produce at their full run rates in FY27. Regis’ has made significant progress on its strategy of operating at least four underground mines at Duketon. When Garden Well Main and Rosemont Stage 3 are producing, Regis will operate three underground mines in Duketon and the team are working hard to drill out the Exploration Target at Ben Hur, which if all goes well, could, in time, become a fourth underground opportunity! At Duketon – the more you drill, the more gold you find. #gold #mining #underground

Why Local Representation Matters in Mineral Exploration For junior mining companies venturing into Ontario, partnering with a local prospector-explorer can be the key to success. Here’s why: 1️⃣ Deep Local Knowledge: A resident prospector understands the geology, history, and nuances of the region—insights that go beyond maps and reports. The prospector will put #BootsontheGround in hard to reach places. 2️⃣ Streamlined Administration: Managing Ontario’s mining claim and permitting system requires familiarity with provincial regulations, including staking, reporting, and compliance. Local representation ensures nothing is overlooked. 3️⃣ Community Connection: Building trust with local communities and stakeholders is critical. An Ontario-based prospector brings credibility and fosters positive relationships on behalf of your company. Partnering with a local prospector isn’t just practical—it’s strategic. Their experience and connections help junior mining companies hit the ground running, ensuring exploration projects are managed effectively and with confidence. Its important to realise that many of these mines, once closed, revert to Native Title Determined Lands. The life-long management of the mine and the quality of the closure plan will have an enormous impact on Native Title Holders rights to the land. I am deeply concerned that NTP rights are being destroyed with little thought to the inter-generational impact this has on their connection to Country, and their right to use the land inperpetuity through arbitraty decisions about final landform, contaminated sites locations and rehabilitation metrics. How can we do this better?? I feel Closure Plans need to be developed, not just with some ‘engagement’ with relevant stakeholders. There needs to be feasibility and landuse assesments completed, and long term landuse plans developed led by Native Title Parties, facilitated and produced by mining companies through closure plans. This will ensure that the private sector, who have profited greatly from significant destruction, close the gap and set the future land use up for success!

Noble Completes Phase 1 Drilling on Boulder Project near Hearst, Ontario ⛏️ 🇨🇦 We are pleased to announce that Phase 1 drilling on the 214 claims in Way Township (Boulder Project) has been completed. The claims extend from about 4 to 15 km southwest of the town of Hearst, Ontario. The property area is equivalent to approximately 4,500 hectares or 45 sq km. The purpose of the Phase 1 drill program was to identify the nature of the till and bedrock geology in the vicinity of the mineralized boulder discovery. This was necessary since about 90% of the property is glacial till covered. Historically, a sample of a metalliferous boulder, brought to the Timmins Mining District Regional Resident Geologist in 2019 by a Mr. A. Cousineau, was submitted for chemical analysis to Geolabs in Sudbury to establish its metal and mineralogical makeup. Geolabs determined that the boulder contained: 71.8% copper; 3.5% lead, 1.09% zinc; 252 g/t of silver, 3.79 g/t of gold; 4.43 g/t of palladium; and 2.22 g/t of platinum and consisted primarily of cuprite (van Hees et al., 2020). 📈TSX-V: NOB | OTC: NLPXF 📈 #mining #Hearst #Ontario #Investing #Exploration See the full news release ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dXzheviM

We've completed a Heritage Survey at the Mindoolah Gold Mining Centre, part of our Mindoolah Gold Project in Western Australia. The survey, conducted by the Wajarri Yamatji Aboriginal Corporation, involved six Traditional Owners alongside archaeological and anthropological consultants. Representing Westar were CEO Jason Boladeras and Exploration Manager Steve Sheppard. The survey covered the area of our proposed inaugural RC drill program, targeting high-priority gold targets identified through historical data, mapping, sampling, and geological interpretation. A preliminary heritage survey report is expected within six weeks. An update on the heritage survey results will be provided, and if successful, it will include the timeline for the drill program’s commencement in the first quarter of 2025. CEO and Executive Director Jason Boladeras commented: “Westar appreciates the efforts of everyone who contributed to completing this important milestone before the end of the year. With heritage approvals pending, we are looking forward to beginning our first drill program in early 2025 to explore the potential for gold mineralisation continuing along strike and down-dip from historical workings and open pits.” Read the full ASX Announcement here: https://lnkd.in/gYywqsNu #WSR #WestarResources #ASX #ASXNews

News Release: Exploits Makes New Discovery with 67.55 g/t Au Over 3.30 m with Visible Gold Including 254.08 g/t Au Over 0.80 m at "Saddle Zone" Jeff Swinoga, President and CEO, comments, "On our first three drill holes, we are very excited to hit high grade gold intercepts with visible gold readily observed. Our team first discovered the mineralization of this northeast interpreted splay branching off the Appleton Fault when our drill program last year reported gold intercepts in holes 28 and 30 that appeared to line up. After completing a deep dive analysis into all available geological and technical information, ranking numerous opportunities and using televiewer to assist in drill design orientation, we announced this focused drill program, and we are very encouraged by its early results. With 10 kms of claims on the Appleton Fault Zone, a talented all local team based in historic Gander, Newfoundland (a 30-minute drive to our project), available infrastructure, well-funded and large supporting shareholders such as Eric Sprott and New Found Gold, our goal is to be the next large successful gold exploration company in the beautiful province of Newfoundland and Labrador." https://lnkd.in/gCVccyrA #ExploitsGold #MiningNL #PreciousMetals #Gold #GoldMining #MiningNews Mining Industry NL #NewfoundlandRocks
