Here's the first of two new papers from the THz group at University of Leeds School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering / The Bragg Centre for Materials Research. Sanchit Kondawar and co-authors present a neat integrated technique for stabilising the output power of a terahertz quantum-cascade laser. Read free (open-access) here: https://lnkd.in/enHFgD-a This follows some great work by Imon Kundu a few years ago, in which he developed the underlying photonic-integrated circuit, and we were awarded funding by the UK Space Agency to study its suitability for satellite-borne receivers. The ongoing work was supported through my UK Research and Innovation Future Leaders Fellowship in THz atmospheric and space instrumentation.
