Headed to Vegas for PPAI Expo ✈️ 3 things on my mind sitting in my Lyft at 5 am on a lovely Tuesday: 1/ Quality > Quantity (leads) We always need leads. More leads is a good thing. More qualified leads is a great thing. Customers are more expensive than ever to find. I like to aim small, miss small. Have quality conversations. Ask great questions. I always prioritize conversations over scans. 2/ Walk the floor. This is for my fellow suppliers. I understand those of you exhibiting need to be at your booths. Work in shifts if you can and make sure to walk the floor. Engage with other suppliers. See what’s out there. Who’s got a great booth? Why? Take note of displays you like and how traffic is moving through them. There’s a lot to learn out there. Walking the floor was critical for me the first time I attended and still is. 3/ Did I put the trash out before I left? If not, my wife won’t be very pleased 😬 But I think I remembered ✅ — Have a great show! Next up: Impressions-Long Beach ✈️

### Trade Shows: The Unexpected “sell me if you can” LOL! It's surprising how, when you build a booth at a trade show, most visitors are actually trying to sell you something. The number of targeted visitors interested in buying your products or services is significantly smaller. Exhibition organizers have no solutions for this problem—no targeted matchmaking of buyer visitors for exhibitors, which is the very reason companies invest in such expensive participation and booth construction.
