Brands often make assumptions about what consumers want in a package design. Unfortunately, they’re often incorrect. The good news is that if you screen design concepts early, you can test your assumptions—and learn what consumers really think—before you head in the wrong direction. And what you learn from those tests can put your brand on a path to design-driven growth. Check out this case study that shows the immense value of screening design concepts early: loom.ly/M0snoFY #designmeetdata #packagingdesign #packaging #redesign #analytics #cpg #visualdesign #brand #branding #branddesign #consumerinsights #marketresearch #datadriven #data

There is no one-size fits all answer to creating effective package designs. But if there was one piece of advice we could offer to brands, it’s this: Test to learn, not to win. Because in the end, that’s actually the best way to win with design. Our progressive learning model is the best way to ensure that your brand’s design has a positive impact on sales. Why is using a larger sample size so important in design research? In a word: confidence. The larger the sample size, the smaller the margin of error, the more useful the results, and the more convincing the conclusions. Conversely, smaller sample sizes can frequently lead to parity (i.e., inconclusive) results that are mistakenly considered positive. See just how big a difference sample sizes can make: loom.ly/MfKlaSU #designmeetdata #packagingdesign #packaging #redesign #analytics #cpg #visualdesign #brand #branding #branddesign #consumerinsights #marketresearch #datadriven #data
