It's by making new Subsequences that hide objects and levels. I made a model of Lux and rigged it in Cinema 4D. I wanted to try do a stop motion Wes Anderson thing. I baked the rigid body and rope dynamics into alembics and then used Xpresso to get the stop motion effect. For the tail I used the Xpresso formula node to recreate the Vibrate tag for a procedural tail wag animation. Than made a quantize chain and range mapper to get the stop motion effect. With proxy control, you can control the rotation of your rig from any point without disrupting the existing pose. This means you can make rotational adjustments in a way that feels intuitive and doesn’t interfere with your character's established position, which is super cool and practical! A cinematic short film created in Unreal Engine 5. From initial concept and storyboard to partial asset creation (using a combination of custom-made, scanned, and marketplace assets), I independently handled every step of the process. This includes integration into UE5, lighting, rendering, and compositing. The music and sound effects were crafted using materials from Soundly and Artlist libraries.
