Hey guys! Today I'm calibrating a right angle probe on our controls. I'm using our TS 460 with right angle adaptor so I can mount the stylus, however you can use any touch probe with right angle attachment. In order to do this you must have NC software 17. This is particularly useful in undercut and aerospace applications where we need to probe for a second op. The cool thing about our right angle probing logic is it works in any manual mode probing routine and also any 14XX cycle which are the newer more advanced automation probing cycles!! check them out sometime 😉. cheers! #instamachinist #5axismachining #motioncontrol #cncmachining #inspectionRoutines

🛠️ Throwback to 2012: This little guy on our manufacturing floor was causing us big headaches! We used Root Cause Analysis to optimize the soldering process, discovering that solder preforms was our best solution.
