Circularity is a collective effort🌿 To limit the use of virgin raw materials, we cooperate closely with partner companies across industries, actively recovering valuable materials otherwise destined for waste. Our new affiliations transform pine rosin, a by-product of the Scandinavian paper industry, into a bio-based ingredient for our carpet tile backing. The Green Dot is often misunderstood. It indicates that a company has made a financial contribution to recycling and waste recovery efforts in Europe, whether the company’s packaging is recyclable or not. However, because of its green arrows, The Green Dot is frequently confused with the recycling symbol. This leads many people to recycle items that aren’t recyclable, contaminating recyclables and ultimately causing more harm than good. We set out to solve this problem when we accepted an invitation to an international design challenge. We were tasked with redesigning The Green Dot without any arrows or cycle so it wouldn’t be confused with the chasing arrows of the recycling triangle. Our redesign of the Green Dot not only addressed the confusion issue but also made it more intuitive and eye-catching. We designed it with a built-in story and created a simple, intuitive campaign to introduce it to the public, ensuring that it will be easily understood and recognized. Want to see more? Recognising Earth Day 2024 we're pleased share an update about our eco-friendly initiatives focused on protecting our planet today and everyday. 🌿 Sustainable Materials: We use non-painted, recyclable wooden reels for our stainless steel wire - reducing chemical use and promoting material recyclability. 🌿 Eco-friendly Packaging: We use cardboard wrapping around our reels instead of plastic or coreflute - minimising environmental impact and enhancing the recyclability of our packaging. 🌿 Active Recycling Program: We support the recycling of stainless steel to be reformed into new products. This not only conserves resources but helps to reduce our ecological footprint. Our team also actively collaborates with customers and suppliers to innovate new products and solutions that create a more sustainable future, one project at a time. Please reach out to our team to explore how we can work together to continue to deliver environmentally conscious solutions today and everyday🌏 #EarthDay #Sustainability #Recycle #ArcusWireGroup
