How the day started, and how it ended. After rising at 6.30am to crack on, a trip south to the Derbyshire Dales District Council UKSPF event today was a profitable use of time. It was great to bump into Lindsay Rae from Visit Peak District and Derbyshire so soon after yesterday’s workshop. To also find Rob Barlow from TDP Recycled Plastic Furniture, Lisa Tennant from LTVA services and Michelle Waters from Defib4Life Ltd there was an added bonus. Great to catch up. Back to base for a quick touch down and a catch up with the FSB’s James Illsley at Peak District Business Hub and a tonne of phone calls, teams calls and quick catch ups on email and then it was back in the car again and time to head East to Mansfield. Tomorrow is an away day with the SHE UK Board, so it’s a check in at the Travelodge with a fascinating view of town and now to bed before a bright and early start tomorrow for a planning session. There are still five days to help us raise £5k for @s.h.e.uk via the Big Give too, so if you can contribute, please do 🙏 Donations can be made via the link below👇 https://lnkd.in/eTCTwSJx

Throwback Thursday! It’s hard to believe it’s already been a month since we attended Glee Birmingham Show! We had a busy and exciting day visiting client stands, catching up with Garden Media Guild members and exploring all of the incredible businesses showcasing their products. We were blown away by our friends at Haws Watering Cans, who went above and beyond hand-building, hand-painting and hand-constructing (yes, really!) their stunning stand. It was the perfect backdrop for their iconic watering cans, especially those gleaming copper beauties! ✨ #horticulture #glee2024 #clientevents #clientnews

Fabulous to spend the day yesterday with Sam & Jacqui of Pink Alpaca Studios, artist Zoe Marsh and Sarah of Handpicked By Henrietta, diving into social media strategising and planning. After a morning of exploring the ‘what’s your why?’ We then got into the business of video-shorts production with tips on easy ways to get started using just a phone and a few short-cut techniques. We were looked after wonderfully by New Mills Golf Club with a superb lunch to break up all that talking and thinking time. A High Peak Borough Council funded workshop by Visit Peak District and Derbyshire for creatives and food producers in the High Peak. The last session is next week at The Palace Hotel in Buxton. If you’d like to join, then the sign up form is here: https://lnkd.in/eQJMwYD6 #socialmediamarketing #socialmediatips #highpeakbusiness #smallbusinesssupport
