🛌 Would you know where to start buying a bed for your elderly parent? For many, buying a bed to help with care needs can be daunting and confusing. I recently met Phyllis and Tracy, who were both new to the world of profiling beds. Our latest video hears more on their story, and how Phyllis wouldn't be without her new bed (despite her not wanting one initially) I'm sure Phyllis and Tracy's story will inspire others and make life easier for people in similar situations. As always, pleasure working with Owen and Gus from NORTHERN VISUALS on this project. #OperaBeds #CustomerStory #Storytelling #Video
💙"I've got my independence back!" In our latest video, meet Phyllis and her daughter Tracy, who share their heart-warming story. When Tracy noticed her mother was struggling with her old bed, she knew it was time for a change. After a personalised consultation, understanding the needs of her mother with COPD, our team installed an Opera profiling bed - and the pair couldn't be happier. See how the perfect bed can transform lives and restore independence. Watch their inspiring journey below! 👇 Phyllis' Story - Opera Beds https://lnkd.in/et8rnRJY #CustomerJourney #IndependenceRestored #TransformativeCare #OperaBeds

Friday Arts … the world is still not improving, so let’s keep talking about other things that are more fun! Springboard Opera had its first night out last weekend. And what a night it was. The first ever Springboard Opera Gala in fabulous Brisbane. And in the spirit of doing it differently, it was opera, but not opera. Some, but not all, of the Springboard Opera young (and talented) human beans were introduced to Brisbane in a fabulous star-studded night of music, theatre and general cool-ness. If you missed out, you’ll have to wait for the next Springboard Thing. And because no man is an island – thanks for the words, John Donne – we are not so much creating an arts organisation as a 21st century Arts Ecosystem that thrives on innovation. Ecosystems imply lots of interconnectedness. Between all the parts. Side-to-Side and Front-to-Back. So the innovation needs to flow Side-to-Side and Front-to-Back. And to make this work, all those parts matter equally. One of the things that was said at the Gala was “Singing optional”. That is because we need skills and INNOVATION everywhere. And with that – a bit of fractured Dr Suess, this time – Oh, the places We’ll go! If you are up for a bit of Amazeballs stuff… Come down and see us at https://lnkd.in/gXgNVTGg – it is going to be WILD! Singing Optional. #Future #TransformationalLeadership #LeadershipDevelopment #Directors #Technology #Performingarts #YourNetworkForLife Leslie Martin Luisa Tarnawski Gheorja Haidley

I wonder what proportion of the UK population know it is World Opera Day today??? Let's get the word out and bring more people to opera! And do please have a look at the results of the research we commissioned from Public First into the public perception of opera. It is a fantastic, and very positive, piece of research which will help formulate thoughts about reaching new audiences. See the link in the post below for the full report.
It was great to speak at the Business of Opera Conference last week, presenting the results of our work with the Laidlaw Opera Trust, looking into what the UK public thinks about opera. The full report is now available: https://lnkd.in/eyGRPcyp It's a huge piece of research, featuring a segmentation based on people's interest in different opera performances, how people's views changed when they were shown short clips of operas, and a lot of detail on how people in Focus Groups spoke about the art form - do give it a read! As ever, a huge thank you to the team who worked on this at various points Jules, Denise, Mike, Ed in particular
